Highland Lighthouse Museum
27 Highland Light Rd., Phone: 508-487-1121
Located near Cape Cod Highland Lighthouse, the Highland House Museum is one of North Truro’s best known landmarks and it is a classic example of a turn of the century summer hotel. A visit to the museum affords a fascinating insight into the everyday life of the past, from the time of the Pamet Native Americans to the early days of this century, when electricity and paved roads were unknown in Truro.
The Museum contains 17th century  firearms, shipwreck mementos, early fishing and whaling gear, household tools, farming implements, furniture, Sandwich glass, a pirate’s chest and much, much more!

Highland Links
10 Highland Lighthouse Rd., Phone: 508-487-9201
Heralded as Cape Cod's oldest golf course, perhaps its most scenic, the Highland Links in North Truro is one of America's golf treasures, perched high along windswept bluffs overlooking the Atlantic next to the vintage Cape Cod Light. Founded in 1892, Highland recently celebrated a hundred years of golf. More than significant than its age is Highland's heritage; circumstances keep it a genuine links, as close to the Scottish tradition found anywhere in the eastern United States, with deep natural rough, Scotch broom, heath, non irrigated open fairways, and spectacular ocean views.
The original "Highland House Golf Links" was part of an ocean hotel and cottage resort operated for year by the Small family of Truro, who promoted the course as "2000 yards around...in attractiveness not equaled in the New England coast." FrancisOuimet, thelegendary U.S. amateur, played an exhibition round here after its original sand greens were converted to grass.

Jenny Lind Tower
Originally a railroad depot tower in Fitchburg, it is famous for a concert performed by "Swedish Nightingale" Jenny Lind in 1850. When an angry mob formed outside a concert hall after promoters oversold the Lind concert, she climbed the tower and sang to them for free. When the Fitchburg Depot was demolished in 1927, this tower was moved to Truro. It now sits beside the Highland Light Beach parking lot.

Payomet Performing Arts Center

Old North Cemetery
Some of Truro's first inhabitants were laid to rest here on the "Hill of Storms." It also marks the location of the town's original meetinghouse and Congregational church. After residents decided these buildings were too far away, a new church was built in 1827 at Truro center and the meetinghouse moved closer. The cemetery still remains with tombstones dating back into the 1700s. Located on Aldrich Road off Route 6.
